The Novos Medios research group welcomes the visit of Carlos Elías Pérez, Professor of Journalism at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and Uxía Carral Vilar, Lecturer in Journalism at the same institution.
Both scholars will share their expertise in the seminar entitled “The impact of AI on journalism and communication in the era of disinformation”, where they will address the use of artificial intelligence tools applied to scientific research in Communication. The session will explore the opportunities and challenges posed by AI in the current context, particularly in relation to the production, management and verification of information.
The seminar will take place on 27 April at 17:00 in the Doctoral Room of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the University of Santiago de Compostela. The event is open to academics, researchers, students and professionals interested in Communication and new technologies.
