Novos Medios researchers coordinate the APG report on innovation in the communication sector in Galicia

The Galician Association of Journalists (APG) has presented in Santiago the 10th issue of its magazine Comunica, which features the report “The State of Innovation in Communication in Galicia”, a document analysing the main challenges and opportunities for the sector in a context shaped by digital transition and artificial intelligence.

The study was led by Professor Francisco Campos Freire and coordinated by Novos Medios researchers Tania Fernández Lombao and Marta Rodríguez Castro, together with APG journalist Alberto Barciela Castro, and included contributions from more than twenty professionals from different areas of the communication and cultural industries.

The presentation event was chaired by the regional minister for Culture, Language and Youth of the Xunta de Galicia, José López Campos, and attended by the Territorial Institutional Director for the Northwest at Banco Sabadell, Adolfo García-Ciaño, the president of APG, María Méndez, and the report’s director Francisco Campos Freire, coordinator Marta Rodríguez Castro, and advisor Alberto Barciela Campos.
