Carlos Arcila Calderón, professor at the University of Salamanca (USAL) and member of the Audiovisual Content Observatory (OCA) will visit Novos Medios Research Group this May.
Professor Arcila Calderón, a specialist in digital methodologies applied to communication research, will share his insights in the seminar Techniques for managing large amounts of data for communication research. In this session he will address strategies, tools and approaches for large-scale data analysis in the field of communication studies.
The meeting will take place on Monday, 25 May 2026, at 12:30 p.m., in the “Sala de doutoramento” of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela.
