On Friday, October 10, the Novos Medios group is organizing a workshop entitled Current Debates in Digital Journalism: A Conceptual Approach to What We Understand Today as a Journalistic Medium.
Following the entry into force of the Regulation establishing a common framework for media services in the European Union, together with a definition of media outlet, there is a need to better understand the opinions and assessments of experts in the sector, such as academics, representatives of media organizations, and journalists. In this regard, a focus group will be held with members of these three groups.
At 12 pm in the Doctorate room, there will be a public meeting, to which all Novos Medios researchers are invited, with Miguel de Aguilera and Francisco Javier Paniagua, professors at the University of Malaga. The aim is also to exchange views on the challenges of research in communication and journalism in Spanish universities today.
