New powers, new responsabilities<\/em> es la encuesta global coordinada por Charlie Beckett desde London School of Economics and Political Science y centrada en la confluencia de periodismo e inteligencia artificial (IA). Participaron periodistas de 71\u00a0medios informativos en\u00a032 pa\u00edses diferentes, principalmente de los departamentos de direcci\u00f3n e innovaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

No, the robots are not going to take over journalism. Yes, the machines might soon be able to do much routine journalism labour. But the reality and the potential of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and data processing is to give journalists new powers of discovery, creation and connection.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

El informe parte de la definici\u00f3n de\u00a0‘inteligencia artificial’ como el conjunto de tecnolog\u00edas como\u00a0machine learning<\/em>\u00a0y automatizaci\u00f3n, un campo con un impacto considerable en el periodismo y un futuro incierto al que se debe prestar atenci\u00f3n. Desde esta perspectiva, se\u00f1ala que las organizaciones deben tener su propia definici\u00f3n de la inteligencia artificial. En base a los resultados de la encuesta, los principales motivos para su aplicaci\u00f3n en los medios son: hacer que el trabajo de los periodistas sea m\u00e1s eficiente, dar contenido m\u00e1s relevante a los usuarios y mejorar la efectividad del negocio.<\/p>\n
